"The most active club in Florida" earns another first. In a new feature series on four wheeling in the United States, the Ocala Jeep Club was asked to represent the best of the Southeast in the debut article scheduled for release in April 2002.
Feature editor Ken Brubaker traveled to Florida to write and shoot this story, and knew from past SuperLift 4xAdventure events that the OJC was right for the job. In addition to the trail ride story, Ken plans to showcase five rigs from Florida - selecting Scott Allen's Big Yellow TJ, Ernie "Big E" Prevedel's Mighty Jeep YJ, and Kaylene Woo's Cherokee Chief for special ride articles in the April 2002 edition of Four Wheeler Magazine Twenty two Jeeps turned out for the ride that covered almost all of the established roads in the south Forest. Ticks, mud, dust, and deep water couldn't keep Ken down as we all watched him hustle and crawl in the dirt to get the "angle" on those action shots! We managed to trade Ken a club T-shirt for some of those rarer-than-rare Four Wheeler license plates...look for these to be given away at future events!
